About Beverley

Beverley Shungu-Omba, known as The Global Caregiver, is a caregiver advocate, care professional, speaker, author, and founder of The Global Caregiver Forum. Based in San Francisco, California, she brings more than thirty years of experience across medical, mental health, psychiatric, forensic, correctional, home health, Alzheimer's and dementia, hospice, and end-of-life care settings in the UK and US.

She created The Beverley Method, a human-centered caregiving philosophy built on self-care, presence, respect, cultural awareness, ethics and integrity, professional conduct, and dignity-centered care.
